Article Processing Charges (APC)
To maintain its open-access and freely accessible nature, the Multi-disciplinary Aviation Journal (MDA) charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 100 for all accepted papers.
This APC covers administrative and managerial costs associated with the peer review and publication process. These include copy editing, formatting, preparation of figures and tables, and other necessary administrative functions required to process submitted manuscripts.
MDA does not impose any submission fees, and no charges apply to articles that are rejected during the review process.
Discounts and Waivers
At MDA, we are committed to promoting inclusivity and supporting authors from economically disadvantaged regions. To encourage participation, we offer discounts of up to 90% on the APC for eligible authors from low-income countries, based on the World Bank's income classification. Eligibility is determined using the World Bank's country classification, available at https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/NY.GNP.PCAP.CD .
Authors from lower-middle-income countries, as classified by the World Bank, may also request an APC discount of up to 50%. These requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, considering the author’s financial circumstances.
If you believe you qualify for an APC waiver or discount, please send your request to em@mdajournal.com. Our editorial team will review each request thoroughly, with a focus on fostering global research collaboration and knowledge sharing.
We encourage eligible authors to take advantage of these waivers and discounts to share their valuable research with the global scholarly community. If you have any questions or need further information, do not hesitate to contact us.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a discounted APC, authors must meet the following criteria:
- All listed authors must be residents of the country corresponding to the requested discount category, as classified by the World Bank.
- The research presented in the paper must have been conducted within the same country.
- The research must not be externally funded, and there should be no available funds to cover publication costs.
By adhering to these guidelines, we aim to support authors from economically disadvantaged regions and promote the dissemination of significant research findings. We strongly encourage eligible authors to submit their manuscripts to MDA for consideration.
